Faults in the Mercedes CLK 7G-Tronic (also called 722.9 ) will cause symptoms such as jerky shifting, poor shifting, sometimes automatic transmission slips when shifting or automatic transmission no longer shifts. Many of these problems can be solved by repairing the transmission module. If you have stored fault codes for the internal speed sensors, this is a very good indication that you have a faulty transmission control module/guide plate.
