Repair TCU Multitronic Audi A5 2007-2016 - VL380 VL381 VL381F A malfunction in the ECU transmission of the Audi A5 causes problems with gear selection, a limp starting mode and an intermittent starting failure. A defective TCU (transmission control unit) generates the following error codes when reading the ECU: P0722 Transmission speed output sender G195, P0721 Transmission speed sender speed (G195), P0706 Step speed step speed (F125) or P0717, P171F, P171E, P171E00 . These error codes cannot be cleared until the internal error is resolved.
