Repair ABS Pump ATE MK60

A faulty pressure sensor is a common problem on vehicles equipped with the ATE MK60 ABS pump. To diagnose a faulty sensor, you will need to connect to the vehicle’s diagnostic port using professional diagnostic equipment that can communicate with the vehicle’s ABS system. Once you have established communication with the ABS system, you will need to check for stored fault codes. If you have a stored fault code for ‘brake pressure sensor fault’ or similar, first try clearing the code, if it does not clear or returns after clearing, check the live data stream using your diagnostic equipment. If the reading is consistently showing the maximum value, even without any pressure on the pedal, then this is a clear indication that your internal brake pressure sensor is faulty.

Repair ABS Pump ATE MK60 Brake Pressure Sensor

To fix the problem, the entire ABS pump would need to be replaced. A brand new unit from the manufacturer is very expensive, needs to be programmed to the vehicle (adding additional labor costs), and only comes with a 1-year warranty.

Fortunately there is a solution to this; we are able to convert your own unit for a small fraction of the price of a brand new unit and offer a 5 year warranty.

We repair the devices on the day of arrival. Of course, you can also come by for an EMERGENCY REPAIR. Ready while you wait! Don't forget to contact us in advance.

We also stock reconditioned units (where available) which are much cheaper than a new unit from the dealer and also come with a 5 year warranty as standard.
