DSG 7-speed DQ381: Sensors and Clutch Position Problems

DSG 7 gears DQ381 is a special type of automatic gearbox with seven gears and double clutch. This gearbox has been widely used since 2017 in the brands Audi , Skoda , Volkswagen and Seat .
There are many different sensors in DSG DQ381. All these sensors go to the Mechatronic – the control brain of the DSG gearbox where all signals are processed. Sensors together with various solenoids and actuators are responsible for initiating the right gear at the right time and operating the clutch.
It is therefore important that the software and valve housing do not contain any faults.
The error codes P0805 Clutch Position Sensor, P173500 (Clutch position sensor 1) and P173600 (Clutch position sensor 2) in the control unit of these transmissions refer to defective sensors that register the position of the clutch plates.
The 7-speed DSG transmission DQ381 and DQ500 (0GC/0DL) with Bosch control unit from VW, which was used in many vehicles of the VAG Group, is an electronically controlled dual clutch transmission.

Known errors of the DQ381/DQ500 (testing & repair possible with us):

P0805 Clutch position sensor function incorrect
P1735 ( 10666 ) Clutch Position Sensor 1, Electrical Fault
P1736 ( 10668 ) Clutch position sensor 2, electrical fault

DQ381/DQ500 faults that may be found on the vehicle:

P0C29 (35494) Transmission hydraulic auxiliary pump
P175D Clutch 1 opens unintentionally
P176E Clutch 2 opens unintentionally

The DQ381/DQ500 uses a wet clutch. This type of clutch is immersed in oil, which provides better cooling and a longer life. The DQ381/DQ500 is designed to deliver a maximum torque of up to 420/600 Nm, making it suitable for a wide range of engines.
Important :
After we have tested and repaired the DQ381/DQ500, basic settings must be performed using a diagnostic tester after installation.

Cloning used Mechatronics is also possible with us.
