In the event of defective ABS pumps on the Honda Jazz , produced between 2002 and 2009, the ABS/VSA warning light comes on continuously. In addition to error codes 51-1 (51-01) ABS Pump Motor, error codes can be stored for: 52-01 (52-1) ABS Pump Motor Relay Open Circuit and 53-1 (53-01) ABS Pump Motor Relay. This ABS pump has also been known to constantly blow fuses and sometimes refuse to communicate with scan tools.
