The DSG Mechatronic system and in particular the DSG 7-speed DQ381, which is also fitted in Audi Q2, can experience various problems, such as shifting problems, strange noises or even complete failure of the gearbox. An appropriate diagnosis is necessary here. Read error codes as soon as possible. Read out fault codes indicate whether it is necessary to repair the DQ381 DSG control module. Do you have error messages that indicate problems with the clutch position sensors: P173500 and/or P173600 ? Repair of a DSG DQ381 is essential in such cases.
